The railway runs daily from April 25 to November 1, 2026. Visitors should note that the Guest Mobility Ticket is not valid for this attraction, requiring the purchase of a regular ticket. Booking online is available to save time and money.

At the summit, visitors are rewarded with a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, which includes 11 lakes. Key features at the top include the Hotel Schafbergspitze and the Himmelspforte shelter. The Himmelspforte offers a terrace where guests can enjoy snacks and drinks while taking in the scenery.
