The region is divided into two main hiking zones: Schladming and Ramsau am Dachstein. Visitors can utilize the Schladming-Dachstein Card, which provides access to free hiking buses and mountain railways, facilitating easy movement between trailheads and villages. This infrastructure supports both day hikes and multi-day treks, with six long-distance trails available for more ambitious hikers.
