Open-air Museum Of Graz

The Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing, located in Gratwein-Straßengel near Graz, is the country’s largest and only national open-air museum. Founded in 1962 by Professor Viktor Herbert Pöttler, it stands as one of the ten largest museums of its kind in Europe. The site preserves approximately one hundred original historical buildings rescued from destruction, representing the formative architectural styles of various Austrian federal provinces, including Styria, Upper Austria, and Tyrol.
